Newsletter: Come to the Table
When a community comes together, magical things can happen.
Where young people who didn’t have a place to go can move into a beautiful new home.
Where frustration about a seemingly intractable social challenge can shift into an opportunity for people to come together and build connection.
Where a dream about building an upstream solution to homelessness can begin.
Thank you for being a part of the Mesa community. You have been part of the magic that has allowed this place, this vision, to become a reality.
At our Grand Opening this summer, I quoted renowned chef and founder of World Central Kitchen, José Andrés, who said, “We need longer tables, not higher walls.”
13 young adults now have a seat at the table. They’ve found more than just a roof over their heads—they’ve discovered a place to call home, a community to lean on, and the space to begin imagining what their futures could be. It has been just a few months since the doors to our tiny home community opened and incredible things have begun to take shape with our participants securing meaningful work, building the confidence to return to school, seeking mental health support, and developing fulfilling relationships with one another.
At Mesa, we’re dedicated to helping young adults explore what is possible and build a foundation for the future they are imagining for themselves. The truth is that we can’t do it alone and your support makes a huge difference.
Together, we can ensure no young person in our community faces homelessness alone. Come to the table and join us in creating a future we can all be proud of—where every young adult has the chance to thrive.
Thank you for being a part of this vital mission. Your partnership creates a path to independence, dignity, and a future filled with possibility.
With heartfelt gratitude,
